AlgoaBay Manufactures is a family owned company located in Despatch but also servicing surrounding areas. It was established in 2012 by Hugo Marx, still a partner in the business today. The company’s original core business is manufacturing of steel trailers in Port Elizabeth, tow bars, braais and all related steel work and welding requirements.

 

This started out initially as an extra income and has now evolved to full time

In 2013, Hugo’s son, Werner,  joined him in the business. The father – son team identified their own unique niche in the market and they soon gained a reputation for cost effective and good quality workmanship.

Thanks to our increasing success, AlgoaBay Manufacturers has begun to expand, particularly within the braai, braai grids and tow bar demands.

Our passion is to become more involved in the building and repairs of all trailers and we seem to be moving in that direction more and more.

AlgoaBay Manufactures offer clients cost effective and good quality steel requirements, which can be made up within hours and up to just two weeks if required, thanks to our in-house production and manufacturing team.
